Daylight Savings Time

Wow church starts so late!  We have church at 1 pm.  I haven't had church at 1 pm, in...forever! With this whole daylight savings nonsense, it started even later!  When do we get to start spending our daylight already?  If that is corny, I blame Nick.

So this morning Nick and I decided to make the most of it.  We went on a walk by Bridal Veil Falls, on the first day that snow stuck in Provo, Utah!  It was a winter wonderland! Ok, actually there was like 1/2 inch of snow on the ground with the green grass still sticking its head through...but either way, this marks the first day of the calendar year that we can all start listening to Christmas music!  So go ahead, bust out your favorites!  Nick and I started the season right with the only Christmas song he had on his iPod, Micheal Buble's "Let it Snow." We ended our nice walk by singing Christmas songs on the drive home, since the radio stations weirdly haven't started playing Christmas music yet (are they crazy?)

Don't worry Thanksgiving, we haven't forgotten about you, its just that its been Fall for so long, and you really don't have any good songs to sing.

So welcome the good of snowflakes, eggnog, Christmas crafts and decorating, and the bad of slipping in the ice, freezing my arse off, and never seeing the sun...we've all been waiting.

I shared this adventure here:
