It's Christmas Time in the City

Christmas Decorating in a small apartment is kind of hard to accomplish. That said, we had a blast, even if it is not the most beautiful ever!  We bought a Noble Fir that is a little over 6 feet tall, and asked for leftover leaves (the ones they cut off the bottom of the tree so it will fit in the bottom) and they gave us all we wanted!  So I made my first home-made fresh Noble Fir Christmas Wreath! Remember my Fall Wreath, well I pulled off the leaves from that and poked the Christmas tree branches into the sticks, and it was so easy! I tried to read about a complicated method involving numerous wire hangers and more wire, but I didn't have any of that, so this worked so perfectly! I bought this stick wreath for 2 dollars, and now I've used it for 2 Holidays! After all my greenery was added, I put a 1 dollar wooden "A" for Allred, hung by Christmas ribbon, in the middle of it.  Also, I added a few fake holly berries into the mix.

looks wonderful!! Smart idea taking two pictures of the tree, I was trying to take a pic of my tree earlier and couldn't get it right. :)

what a great looking tree, and how super cute is your kitty! i love him in the wreath like that...mine has taken to sitting under the tree. luckily it's a fake tree, so she wouldn't be drinking the water and getting any chemicals off the real one.
